Himachal Institute of Nursing is affiliated by HPNRC and INC after successful inspections and observation. The intake capacity of the Institute is 40 students per year the institute was started in the year of 2010 with the aim:

To prepare nurse with a sound educational programme in nursing to enable than to function as efficient members of the health team, beginning with the competencies for first level positions in all kind of health care settings.
To help nurse develop an ability to co-operative and co-ordinate with member of the health team in the prevention of discos, promotion of health and rehabilitation of the sick.
To help nurses in their personal and professional development so that they are able to make maximum contribution to the society useful and productive individuals, citizens as well as efficient nurses.
To nurse as a base fore future professional education and specialization in nursing.
To prepare nurses to keep face with latest professional and technological development and use these for providing nursing care services.
